How To Make Delicious Dhaba Style Aloo Matar Masala Pakistani Food Recipe With Step By Step Instructions:
Ingredients:
- Potato (3 medium cubes and peeled)
- Green Peas (1 cup )
- Oil (3 tbsp)
- Butter Or Ghee ( 1 tbsp)
- Bay Leaves ( 2 leaves)
- Green Cardamon ( 1 piece)
- Black Cardamom ( 1 piece)
- Black Peppercorn ( 8 to 10 pieces)
- Dried Red Chili (2 chilies)
- Cinnamon Stick ( 2 pieces)
- Cloves (4 cloves)
- Asafoetida (1/4 tsp ) Hing
- Chopped Onion (2 medium-sized)
- Green Chilies (3 to 4 chilies)
- Chopped Ginger (1.5 inches)
- Garlic (7 to 8 cloves)
- Garam Flour (1.5 tbsp)
- Kasuri Methi (1 tbsp)
- Chopped Tomato (3 medium-sized)
- Salt as required
- Coriander Powder ( 2 tsp)
- Turmeric Powder (1/2 tsp)
- Red Chili (1/2 tsp)
- Kashmiri Red Chili Powder (1 tsp)
- Cumin Powder ( 1 tsp)
- Black Pepper Powder ( 1/2 tsp)
Instructions:
- Firstly, wash the potatoes and peel and also cut in cube shape and ser aside it
- Take one cup of peas and boil it and set aside it
- Take a Kadhi and add oil and heat it
- Add potato and cook until they are half cooked
- Remove potatoes from this oil and set aside it
- In the same oil add bay leaves, green cardamom, black cardamom, cloves, black peppers, Cinnamom stick, except dried red chili, and saute for 1 minute on the low flame
- Now add dried red chili and chopped onion and cook it until then its come light brown color
- After this process, add garlic, ginger, and chopped green chilies and mix it
- Add gram flour, mix and saute well
- Now add Kasuri Methi and tomato puree (chopped tomatoes, make a coarse puree) and mix well
- Take a small bowl, add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder, and 2 to 4 tbsp of water and mix all spices together
- This spices bowl, add in this Kadhi and mix it
- Cover and cook for 5 minutes
- After 5 minutes, add boiled peas and fried potatoes and mix well
- In the end, add 1.5 cups of hot water and Cover and cook for 5 minutes on the low flame
- Garnished with sliced ginger and green coriander
- Delicious Dhaba style Aloo Matar is ready to eat
