How To Make Delicious Mughlai Chicken Handi Pakistani Food Recipe With Step-By-Step Instructions
Ingredients
- Chicken Boneless (500 grams), cut into the bite sizes pieces
- Crushed Black Pepper (3/4 tsp)
- Salt (1 tsp)
- Cooking Oil (3 tbsp)
- Onion (2 small-sizes), grated the onion
- Ginger & Garlic Paste (2 tsp)
- Turmeric Powder (1/2 tsp)
- Red Chili Powder (1.5 tsp)
- Coriander Powder (2 tsp)
- Cumin Powder (1/2 tsp)
- Tomato Puree (4 tbsp) you can use readymade puree
- Cashew Nuts Paste (12 cashew nuts are used for making this paste)
- Yogurt (3 tbsp), whisked
- Water (150 ml)
- Green Chilies (2 chilies)
- Gram Masala Powder (3/4 tsp)
- Fenugreek Leaves (2 tsp)
- Coriander Leaves (2 tbsp)
Instructions
- Firstly, take a large bowl add chicken boneless, salt, and crushed black pepper, and mix with your hand. Set aside it for 1 hour
- Take a wok add cooking oil and heat it
- Add grated onion and fry for 3 to 4 minutes
- Then add ginger and garlic paste and also mix it
- Now add marinated chicken and cook until then its changes color
- After this point add spicy like red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and cumin powder and mix well
- After a few minutes add tomato puree mix it and fry till the oil separates
- When oil becomes separated from the chicken add cashew nuts paste and yogurt and then mix it
- Cook for 2 minutes and then add 150 ml water and green chilies and mix well
- Cover and cook for 15 minutes on low flame to tender the chicken
- After 15 minutes, add the gram masala powder and Kasuri Methi (fenugreek leaves), and simmer for 2 minutes on low heat
- Tasty Mughlai Chicken handi is ready to eat
