This recipe is very healthy because I am using a very small quantity amount of oil and using vegetables like tomato, turnip, eggplant, cabbage, peas, carrot, potatoes, and onion. How To Make Mixed Sabzi (Mix Vegetables) Pakistani Food Recipe With Step By Step Instructions:
Ingredients:
- Cooking Oil (4 tbsp)
- Onion ( 1 small chopped)
- Eggplant ( 2 medium chopped and peeled)
- Turnip (4 medium chopped and peeled)
- Peas (1 cup)
- Potatoes (3 medium cubes and peeled)
- Tomatoes (3 medium chopped)
- Cabbages (1/2 cup chopped)
- Carrot (3 medium sliced and peeled)
- Cumin Seeds (1/2 tsp)
- Salt (as required)
- Red Chili Powder (1/2 tsp)
- Turmeric Powder (1/2 tsp)
- Green Chili (4 to 5 thin chopped)
- Green Coriander (for garnishing)
- Bay Leaves (2 leaves)
- Garam Masala Powder (1/2 tsp)
Instructions:
- Firstly, Boil the peas, potatoes, turnip, and carrot and tender it
- Then these vegetables to tender then drain the water and set aside
- Secondly, take a pan and add oil then heat it
- Add chopped onion and cook until then its change the color like light golden brown
- Now, add tomato, bay leaves, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, and mix well
- Cook for a few minutes then add eggplant and cook it
- Add 1/2 cup of water and cover and cook for 5 minutes
- After 5 minutes, then add cabbage and chopped green chilies and ad cook for five minutes more
- Now add all boiled vegetables and mix it
- In the end, add green coriander and sprinkle garam masala, and cover and cook on low heat for 5 minutes only
- Delicious mixed sabzi is ready to eat and serve with naan, or rice
