How To Make Mixed Vegetable Ka Pani Wala Achar Pakistani Food Recipe Stey By Step Instructions:
Turnip and Carrots and Cauliflower, green garlic bring out some amazing flavors to enhance your winter meals. This instant pickle needs to be well marinated for 2-3 days before it can be served. After which it holds good in the fridge for a good week or two.
1. Carrots (Peeled & cut in small sticks) – 1/2 kg
2. Turnips – 1/2 kg
3. Cauliflower – 1/2 kg
4. Green Garlic – 2 tbsp
5.Green Chilies – 8
6. Red Chili Powder – 1 & 1/2 tbsp
7. Salt – 1 tbsp
8. Turmeric – 1 tbsp
9. Black Mustard Seeds – 2 tbsp
10. Fennel Seeds – 1 tsp
11. Vinegar – 4 tbsp
12. Water -3 liter (Warm water used)
13. Fenugreek Seeds- 1 tbsp (optional)
Producer For Cooking:
- To begin making the Mixed Vegetable Ka Paani Wala Achar recipe, cut vegetables into thick slices and wash them nicely.
Add 1-1/2 cups of water and the vegetables in a pressure cooker and pressure cook for 1 whistle.
Turn off the heat and allow the steam to release naturally.
Once the steam is completely released, transfer the vegetables along with the water into a pan and keep them aside.
In a separate pan, dry roast black mustard seeds and fennel along with some fenugreek seeds and crush them partially using a mortar pestle.
Add vinegar, salt, and the crushed spices to the cooked turnip and carrot and cauliflower and stir nicely. Give a gentle boil and turn off the heat.
Allow the pickle to cool down completely and later transfer it to a jar or any container and store it in the fridge.
