How To Make Restaurant-Style Chicken Handi Pakistani Food Recipe With Step-By-Step Instructions

Ingredients

  • Butter (2 tsp)
  • Cooking Oil Or Canola Oil (3 to 4 tbsp)
  • Cumin Seeds (1/2 tsp)
  • Onion (2 medium-sizes), finely chopped
  • Ginger & Garlic Paste (1 tbsp)
  • Tomatoes (2 large sizes), roughly chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Water (1/2 cup)
  • Chicken Boneless (500 grams), cut into cubes shape
  • Turmeric Powder (1/4 tsp)
  • Red Chili Powder (1/2 tsp)
  • Coriander Powder (1 & 1/2 tsp)
  • Cumin Powder (1/3 tsp)
  • Black Pepper Powder (1/3 tsp)
  • Gram Masala Powder (1/2 tsp)
  • Yogurt (100 grams)
  • Dried Fenugreek Leaves (1 tsp)
  • Cream (4 tbsp)
  • Green Coriander Leaves for garnishing
  • Green Chilies (2 to 3 chilies)

Restaurant Style Chicken Handi Pakistani Food Recipe

Instructions

  1. Take a large pot and add cooking oil & butter and heat on medium flame
  2. When oil comes to medium-hot then add cumin seeds and saute it
  3. Now add finely chopped onion to that pot and mix it
  4. Cook it until the onion becomes golden brown color then add ginger & garlic paste and chopped tomatoes and make a smooth paste
  5. After this process now add a chicken boneless cube and cook it
  6. When the chicken changes color then add spicy salt, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder, and gram masala powder, and mix all the ingredients
  7. Mix the spicy then add yogurt and mix it
  8. Add 1/2 cup of water and bring to boil it
  9. Cover and cook for 8 to 10 minutes on the low flame to tender the chicken
  10. After 10 minutes, add fenugreek leaves and cream and mix well
  11. In the end, add coriander leaves and green chilies and mix it
  12. Delicious chicken handi is ready-served with naan and roti
