Ingredients

  • Moong Dal (Yellow Lentils)
  • Tomatoes
  • Green Chilies
  • Green Coriander leaves
  • Green Garlic
  • Salt to Taste
  • Red Chili Powder
  • Turmeric Powder
  • Garlic Paste
  • Cumin Seed
  • Cooking oil or Olive oil
  • Chinese Salt

Instructions

  • Firstly, take one cup of yellow lentils (Moong ki Dal) and soak for 2 hours
  • After 2 hours, pour this dal into a pot and add three of water in it
  • Bring to boil it
  • Then add one tbsp of red chili powder, half tbsp of turmeric powder, and two chopped tomatoes in this pot
  • Cook for 15 minutes on the medium heat
  • When lentils are completely tender and grate it
  • Take another pan, add three to four tbsp of cooking oil and heat on the low flame
  • Add garlic paste, 3 chopped green chilies, half tbsp of cumin seeds in it
  • When garlic comes to grown brown color then add this tarka in the grate lentils
  • Mix very well and kept on the low flame of the stove for 5 minutes only
  • In the end, add coriander leaves, and green garlic and mix well
  • Now delicious moong dal is ready to eat
  • Serve with rice because of dal and rice were more delicious when they are combining to eat.
