Ingredients
- Cooking Oil Or Canola Oil (1/2 cup)
- Onion (2 medium-sizes), sliced
- Ginger & Garlic Paste (2 tbsp)
- Boneless Beef (1 kilogram)
- Grind Tomatoes (4 medium-sizes)
- Salt to taste or (2 tsp)
- Red Chili Powder (2 tsp)
- Black Pepper Powder (1 tsp)
- Chaat Masala Powder (1 tsp)
- Coriander Powder (2 tsp)
- Turmeric Powder (1 tsp)
- Crushed Cumin Seeds (2 tsp)
- Water (2 glasses)
- Yogurt (1/2 cup)
- Lemon Juice (1 tbsp)
- Garam Masala Powder (1 tsp)
- Dried Fenugreek Leaves (1 tsp)
- Fresh coriander leaves (2 tbsp), for garnishing
- Green Chilies (2 to 3 chilies), for garnishing
- Ginger Julienne for garnishing
- Coal (1 piece), heat until it red
- Oil (1 tsp), fr spread into coal
Instructions
- Take a large pot\wok and heat it
- Add 1/2 cup of cooking oil and heat the oil then add onion slices and cook it
- Cook the onion until it becomes a light golden brown color then add 2 tbsp of ginger & garlic paste & mix it
- Then add 1 kg of boneless beef into the wok and cook until it changes color
- When beef changes color then add ground tomatoes and all spices (salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, chaat masala powder, crushed cumin seeds, coriander powder, and black pepper powder) and mix all ingredients and spices
- After mixing well then add 2 glasses of water and bring to a boil it
- Cover and cook for 1 hour on medium flame until then the beef tender
- After the beef is tender add 1/2 of yogurt and mix it
- Dissolved the excess water and oil separate from the beef handi
- Add 1 tbsp of lemon juice, 1 tsp of Garam masala powder, and 1 tsp of dried fenugreek leaves and mix well
- When the oil separates then turn off the flame
- Take a foil pepper place the center of the handi and place the heated coal on the foil spread 1 tsp of oil on the coal and cover it immediately
- Smoke the handi for 5 to 7 minutes
- Then remove the coal and foil pepper and garnish with fresh coriander leaves, green chilies, ginger julienne
- Serve with an onion slice, lemon wedges, butter naan, tandoori roti, and raita and Imli Chutney
