Ingredients:

  • Cooking Oil (1/2 cup)
  • Cumin Seeds (1 tsp)
  • Cinnamon Stick (2 pieces)
  • Green Cardamon ( 2 pieces)
  • Cloves ( 4 to 5 pieces)
  • Nutmeg ( small piece)
  • Onion (2 medium-sizes), chopped
  • Ginger & Garlic Paste (2 tsp)
  • Tomato Paste ( 3 medium-sizes), grind the tomatoes and make paste form
  • Coriander Powder (1 tbsp)
  • Salt to taste or (1/2 tsp)
  • Turmeric Powder (1/2 tsp)
  • Red Chili Powder (1 tbsp)
  • Dried Fenugreek Leaves (1 tsp)
  • White Lobia (Black-eyed peas) 2 cups
  • Green Chilies (4 to 5 chilies ), chopped
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves (2 tbsp)
  • Water as required
