Ingredients:

Balancing Cashewnut:Yummy Shahi Kaju Paneer Masala Pakistani Food Recipe

  • Water ( 1 cup )
  • Tukda Cashew ( 1/4 cup )
  • Salt ( To Taste )

For making Paste:

  • Cashew Nut ( Blanched )
  • Salt ( To Taste )
  • Curd ( 1 cup beaten )
  • Green Chili ( 1 piece not less than spicy )

For Frying:

  • Ghee ( 2 tsp )
  • Oil ( 1 tsp )
  • Paneer ( 350 gms )
  • Whole Chasew Nut ( 12-15 )

For Gravy:

  • Ghee ( 1 tsp )
  • Oil ( 1 tsp )
  • Bay Leaves ( 2 )
  • Cloves ( 2 )
  • Black Peppercorns ( 2-4 )
  • Green Cardamom ( 1 )
  • Onion ( 2 large )
  • Green Chilli ( 1 )
  • Garlic Paste and Ginger paste ( 1 tsp )
  • Turmeric Powder ( 1/2 tsp )
  • Coriander Powder ( 2 tsp )
  • Tomato ( 1 small )
  • Water ( little )
  • Red Chilli Powder ( 2 tsp )
  • Salt ( To Taste )
  • Water ( 1 cup )
  • Sugar ( 1/2 tsp )
  • Dry Fenugreek Leaves ( 1 tsp )
  • Cashew Nut Fried
  • Fried Paneer
  • Paneer ( 1/4 cup )

For Garnishing:

  • Paneer
  • Fried Cashew Nut
  • Dry Fenugreek Leaves

Instructions:

  1. For making the paste, take a bowl and add blanched cashew nut, curd, salt to taste, green chili and mix it well then transfer it into a juicer grinder jar and grind for till it gets smoother paste.
  2. For frying take a pan, add ghee and oil. When it’s getting hot add the paneer and cook till the paneer changes its color to golden. When it’s cooked remove it from the pan. In the same oil add cashew nut and cook till the cashew nut changes its color to golden then remove it to another plate and let it be cool.
  3. For Gravy, take a pot and add oil, ghee. When the temperature of the oil is completely hot add bay leaves, black peppercorns, cloves, and green cardamom.
  4. Mix well, add onion. When the color of the onion is changed add garlic paste, ginger paste, green chili paste, and cook for 3-4 minutes on medium flame.
  5. Add turmeric, tomato, and coriander powder. Mix it well.
  6. Now add water, red chili powder, and mix nicely.
  7. Add the prepared paste and mix it carefully. Also, add salt and cook for 5-8 minutes on medium flame. Add water, sugar to taste, and salt then mix nicely.
  8. Cover the pan and cook for 7 minutes on low flame.
  9. Add fried paneer, dry fenugreek leaves, and fried cashew nut. Let them boil once, turn off the flame.
  10. Transfer the Shahi Kaju Paneer Masala to a serving plate and garnish with grated paneer, coriander sprig, dry fenugreek leaves, and fried cashew nut.
